Explore America’s Strange Past in SHADOWS OF HISTORY with Host Robert Englund

As the actor who’s become synonymous with Elm Street slasher Freddy Krueger, horror fans consider Robert Englund an elite genre icon. Still, he’s never broken out into the mainstream–but all that may soon be changing. We’re getting word that Englund will be hosting a new series for The Travel Channel.

Shadows of History will explore strange stories from America’s past. The Hollywood Reporter nabbed the exclusive:

In each episode, Englund will track down the story behind a bizarre or mysterious account printed in an American newspaper in the past. He will enlist historians and scholars to get to the truth behind the reports.

“How can you make fascinating and petrifying stories even more scary? Add the genius of Robert Englund,” said Travel Channel GM Jane Latman. “As if tales of flying monsters, zombie cannibals and ghost ships were not enough, we are cranking up the volume for maximum impact. And our fans are going to go nuts for this legendary actor.”

We don’t have a trailer or premiere date yet for Shadows of History, but we’ll keep you posted as additional details emerge. Stay tuned and check back often!

LionHeart FilmWorks will be producing all of the extensive dramatic recreations for this series in 2019. The series is set to premiere in October 2019.

LionHeart partners on "The Civil War 1861 - 1865" strategy game

LionHeart FilmWorks has partnered with on-line game developers Grand Tactician on their upcoming Steam-platformed game titled "The Civil War 1861-1865."  We are providing some of our dramatic and historical combat footage to the game to help bring the Civil War era to life in a way never before seen.

From the developers: "Grand Tactician: The Civil War (1861-1865)" is a real time strategy game, where you will run your nation, muster, manage and support great armies, and maneuver them to defeat the enemy. Once the opposing armies meet, command your troops to victory in battles fought on historical battlefields. The game is in development, and release date will be announced later.

"Legends & Lies: The Civil War" Premieres March 25th on FoxNews Channel!

Very proud to (finally) announce that the long-delayed return of "Legends & Lies" Season Three - The Civil War will begin to air on March 25th on FNC - Sundays at 8:00PM and for the next 12 weeks.  This show doesn't pop up on streaming services (and may never), so catch it now!  Very proud of the work my LionHeart FilmWorks team and I put into this show.  All of that time and effort is reflected on the screen.  I think this is the best of the three seasons.  Thanks for watching and here is a little news blurb:

Fox News Channel launches the third season of the historical docu-series Legends & Lies on Sunday, March 25, at 8 p.m. ET.

Hosted by Fox & Friends’ Brian Kilmeade, this season, Legends & Lies: The Civil War, will revisit the stories of key characters during the Civil War, including President Abraham Lincoln, abolitionist Frederick Douglass, and Commander of the Confederate Army Robert E. Lee, in addition to other notable names who played a key role in the nation’s history during the mid-1800s.

The Civil War Feature Film "Field of Lost Shoes" -- which we were proud to have worked on a few years ago (Costume Design, Historical Consulting and Co-Producing) -- will air across Virginia on PBS stations from Richmond, to Norfolk, Charlottesville,. Harrisonburg and Roanoke.
