The story of this pivotal 1864 Campaign from Tennessee to the Sea is witnessed and told from the common soldier's point of view.  The Battle of Utoy Creek… Cheatham's Hill... Kilpatrick's Raid... The assault on the city of Atlanta… This Campaign marked a clear escalation in the brutality and focus of General William T. Sherman's drive to crush Confederate forces, under Generals Johnston and Hood, holding the Union off in the western theater of the war.
